Power Grid posts steady Q1 results as transmission business lifts revenue

Power Grid Corporation of India's Q1 revenue grew 2.7% to ₹11,496.72 crore, driven by transmission business.

Transmission business revenue rose 2.3% to ₹10,929.16 crore, while consultancy revenue increased 27.6% to ₹518.73 crore.

The company's net profit declined 0.9% to ₹3,598.42 crore due to higher expenses.

Power Grid approved ₹856.94 crore investment for a transmission project to be commissioned by February 2028.
