Nifty50 spends 100 trading days below 200-DMA, 2nd longest in a decade

•The Nifty 50 index has spent 100 trading days below its 200-day moving average (DMA) at 24,790 levels.
•This is the second longest period in the last decade, following 159 trading sessions in 2015-2016 and 95 days in 2020.
•The index has rebounded 8.2% to around 24,000 but remains nearly 3% below its 200-DMA.
•Nearly 50% of Nifty 50 stocks are trading below their respective 200-DMAs, including Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank, and Infosys.
