•The Indian government has launched an Offer for Sale (OFS) of up to 6.5% stake in Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) at a floor price of Rs 382 per share.

•The OFS aims to increase LIC's public shareholding and meet the minimum public shareholding requirement.

•The non-retail issue of the OFS will open on August 4.
