Canara Bank Q1FY27: Net profit at ₹4,856 crore as NII grows 13.4%

•Canara Bank's net profit rose 2.2% to ₹4,855.82 crore in Q1FY27.

•Net interest income increased 13.4% to ₹10,215.27 crore, driven by 6.3% growth in interest earned.

•Gross non-performing asset ratio fell to 1.57% from 2.69% a year earlier.

•Advances grew 19% to ₹12.78 trillion, while deposits increased 11.6% to ₹16.12 trillion.
